Anybody interested in a batch of smaller more compact back boxes...?

You'll like the D3. I've done 131,000 miles in mine through 5 countries (and did the 2010 Help for Heroes 4x4 European Rally in it). It has now passed to my dearest wife as her daily driver as we've sold her 90 and I treated myself to an XKR.

Then I thought about winter driving with a 500+ BHP RWD car, went a bit pale and bought a 54 plate Freelander 3 door auto at the weekend for the same price as a set of winter tyres and some spare alloys on the Jaaaaaag.

Think I'll be chatting to SES when the next batch of zorsts get made :)

I wanted a D3 before I bought my FL2 a few weeks ago, but to get spec/engine I wanted was going to be another 7 or 8 grand over what the FL2 cost me... Admittedly I was going to spend that on a brand new (ish, 6 months old) 90, but saw sense as I work for myself and went for the cheaper car!!

You got the new XKR?? Lovely animals, there's an XKRS around the corner from where my unit is, sounds like thunder!!

If you want a zorst, I can get one made for you at the price everyone else paid, there's enough pre-bent stuff for another 2 or 3 boxes (there were parts made for 10 or so boxes, I've sold 8 so far). Can get one turned around in 3-4 days. Let me know...

Here's the beast, along with the D3 and the (now departed) Defender. Shout if it's not visible.

Just fitted mine that I bought off Skynet, many thanks to both him and SES88 as this exhaust is absolutely brilliant.

Definitely has a deeper sound to it, just enough to put a smile on my face and not annoy other road users. ;) Throttle response has also improved somewhat, but perhaps that's just because of the newly acquired heavy right foot that accompanied the new exhaust! :D

And of course a couple of pictures!

Looks great. I'd expect throttle response to improve and the turbo to spool up a couple of hundred Rpm sooner too.
I'd love one on my V6 if cost wasn't an option.

I'm fitting the one I have here to my car later today (hopefully). I'll see if I can get a static video and maybe take it for a drive to see the difference.

It's getting fitted to my car for a slimline guard/skid plate to be measured up, if anyone else would fancy one.

ive ordered a new rear link pipe, should arrive today so i can get on with replacing the entire system with this exhaust.

im hoping it will actually be quieter than what is on now, as there are quite a few holes in the pipe :)

just tried to get my standard box off to get the stainless box I have here fitted to measure for a guard... my box wouldn't come off!!

Managed to work out how it'll work though, should be able to make a very simple skid plate that's nowhere as near complicated as my other guards :D

fitted mine last night (wish i hadnt chosen a bloody weeknight to do it mind!)

also fitted a new intermediate pipe, car is now actually quiet and yet more powerful, i think the old back box was rather blocked up with rust :)

the new shiney back box fitted perfectly, i had to open up the pipe a bit to fit onto the new intermediate pipe but that could well have been the intermediate being the wrong diameter? (it was £22 delivered after all!)

overall, well chuffed :)

i can also say it has massively improved my car, (the old exhaust was fubar mind)

before mine wouldnt go above 75 in 5th

now it does up to 90!!!

i think the old exhaust was very blocked heh
