Another eas fault .... Ok 1995 rr driving to work ,fault came on display eas fault 35max speed .. Whent to local garage and £48 lighter in my pocket the fault was r/h valve stuck open /closed casnt remember wich one .everything was re set and since then all ok ...

But is this somthing to worry about has im driving to south of spain in april do i take the chance

any advise please
 
So you've just paid £48 to get a fault cleared.
Get yourself either the disc and lead if you're the sort of person that carries a laptop at all times or get yourself an EAS KICKER from Black Box.
You've just paid over twice what the disc and lead would cost and heading for half of what the KICKER would cost.
Next time it happens, and for £48 the garage certainly hasn't repaired or replaced anything, you can clear the fault yourself, in a few minutes, and at the side of a French road if necessary.
 
If you are going down to Spain via the west of France, I'm near Poitiers on the A10 if you get into trouble and need help. At the very least, if you have a laptop, download the free EAS software from www.rswsolutions.com and buy a cable from The Mad Hat Man and then you are covered. It would be worth checking the airbags for leaks with the soapy water test, if they are more than 8 years old they will probably be shot.

ok nice one whats the best way to test airbags ect
