Amber warning lights

I have a 2001 TD4, I have been through the previous threads and can't find anything similar,
the Situation is that my 3 amigos come on when the ignition is turned on and only extinguish one of the following ways,
1, I set off and drive, they will go out at any given distance.
2, Release the handbrake, put foot on footbrake, engage 1st/rev, engage the HDC switch, turn ignition switch, all lights come on , start the engine, the 3 amigos and green HDC lamp stay lit, drive off, 3 amigos go out after 10-30 secs, disengage HDC.
3, non above work and 3 amigos stay on.
Took it to a local LR specialist, connected diagnostic equip, equip can't talk to relevant ECU's, thought it might be a earth prob, located earth points all cleaned and OK,
Could this be and ABS ECU failure?

number one, its the way they work?? although mine go out within a few seconds of driving

Its only the ABS warning lamp that should stay lit until you reach a certain speed(about 7km/h i think) not the 3 amigos.

I think the best thing would be the visit someone that can diagnose the Teves ABS/ETC ECU. When this guy thought it was a earthing problem it was just a wild guess.

the 2001 td4 abs light will stay on until 5mph is reached but the face lift models go out after initial start up have you checked the gravity sensor that is next to the hand break under the centre console it sounds as though it is sticking

All the lights are staying on, not just the ABS.
