it is true that we get our fair share of touchy newbies, however Irishrover is a long standing and highly regarded member of LZ and should be listened to - if only we knew what he meant.

On Pikeys point - Any forum that can state 964 members, repeat MEMBERS signed on in the last 24 hours and a total of 40,292 members, cant be doing too much wrong.

Have you ever wondered if it's you that's wrong and the forum is EXACTLY how the 'regulars', and many others, like it? If you don't like it and think it's going down the pan you're free to ****off anytime you like ..
 
i can agree with both sides of the arguement here, im no expert on p38's but one of the first things i did when i got mine was to read through the handbook, i mean its simple stuff! I then decided to join this forum to obtain and hopefully contribute information on the problems we have with our cars, but also for the banter, you cant take everything and everyone too seriously!
 
I'm saying nothing.......
After seeing so many people today driving around in fog across Salisbury Plain - inc a cop car with NO lights on,and cars driving around on clear main roads doing 25mph in a 60 limit cos there is snow in ajoining fields.
As a good friend of mine in OZ says " I shake my f--king head" :rolleyes:

:blabla:If he new he was going to have the **** taken out of him in the first place why post such a stupid question when all he had to do was apply a bit of lateral thinking snowflake with a temp of lower than 2'c must be cold and posibly icey outside. its not rocket science.
On the other hand it seems like he has got a serious inferiority complex lol:doh:

I rest my case

Its surprising how hard people are behind a computer, yes i was a member of the other 2 but never did i post a thread on them.

And as for telling me to **** off i have been told to do a lot worse but by a lot better person than yourself , any reply from you will fall on deaf ears
