Could somebody please assist...

So I ordered a replacement pulley for my discovery 1 300tdi.

Old pulley is on the left, new pulley on the right (ERR7296). It's plain to see they are different.

My supplier in South Africa is not sure if it will work. They say this pulley supercedes the old design ,but before taking everything off I dont think it will work.
Is the extra bit on the top for decoration or what?

Does anybody have some experience on this part?

I hope somebody can help as the old pulley is toast and I really want to swap it out.

Thank you

try it it is the replacement part err7387

Thanks James

What I dont understand is ERR7296 (bearhmach) looks identical to the err7387.

The difference being the bearmach pulley comes without all the other bits and pieces?

Do you have any info on those and why they not included?

err7296 was superceded to err7387, when the tensioner became err7386 and err7387 instead of err4543,presumably the pulley fits both so can have both numbers
