Just posting height readings and nowt else doesn't give much to go on.....

Hence why I asked, what kit he is using and what fault code is stored when it goes into hard fault.....also, does it sit level and square when it does work.

Odds on it is a compressor problem......but height readings will tell you feck all...other than what the sensor is telling the ECU...whether thay are right or not God only knows...unless we know how the ECU and the diagnostic gear is interpreting the sensor readings.

This guy ask by PM about this. I referred him to you and advised him to state what diag he was using. But as you know nobody ever listens to me. :(:(

Plenty listen Tony, many understand, few administer your advice, a handful will pass your good word on, a couple will ignore you, even less will say thank you.....

Harsh realities.....

I always say thank you! Thank you  I get that all the time in my garage. You give a finger, they take your arm! Op will be back soon with questions I hope and your magic will blind and amaze.:D

Why are you so hell bent on helping this geezer out....it is commendable, but why this singular post (and the one about the Trans Failsafe Prog)?

There are a myriad of other posts with little to no replies from others on this forum.....I am curious as to why this one has you all gun-ho ...?

You do indeed. But this guy asked several people the same question and got advise from me to contact Ant reference his problem and to say what diag he was using.. I am in many ways an L322 virgin. Ant almost certainly knows more about the EAS system on the L322 than i do.

I was also puzzled by this.

Saint. V8, thank you very much for your advice. The car is holding level all the time.
I have not ignored the previous persons advice to confirm what diag box is being used, but unfortunately family problems have taken me away from anything other in life than family issues at the moment.
I will drop in to the garage when I next pass them and ask the question.
Once again thanks for your detailed response.
Nick
