hi all, rear air springs have now been changed:) admitted defeat to the weather and the springs:eek: and sent to local specialist, was'nt to horrific fitting my bits £96 inc vat, while i was there got punted into a second hand psi power box (looking not actually psi but very simalar).real happy with new springs now i'm not looking like a mexican low rider, ride is the nuts, could'nt coil it i dont think been in classics and they are scary they wallow so much.anyway i'm after your thourghts on chipping these beemer engines can they take it ? now i've not got this chip to go racing chavs in the city(although the amount of grunt she's now got there would be some red faces)i was really hooked on the ''you get more MPG and better throttle responce'' MPG being key i'm gonna keep it on for a few weeks and see if there is an increase in mpg, over the last two days though with chip it is better on juice.please let me know your thourghts or experience of chips good or bad.

regards

p.s sorry for the babbling.

Thats' not a bad price for not having to spend an afternoon soaked through under your car.

Don't think you have anything to be worried about chipping your car, it'll take it if its maintained as normal.

hi,my p38 diesel auto has got a psi powerbox fitted and i am very very pleased with it compared to the standard engine.yes these bmw engines can be upgraded as long as they are well looked after.these engines are fitted to the bmw 325/525 models and to the vauxhall omega as well and they are offered with better bhp.;)

cheers for your opinions, just to mention (datatek) message centre was up a gallon from 19.1 to 20.1 on two seperate combined runs with as light a right foot as possible, going on the gauge alone though must be getting 30mpg on a run, i used to have 4.2td landcruiser so anything over 15mpg and i have to make sure i dont p*£$ myself with excitement.

regards steve.
