air intake advise

does anyone now if you can convert the air intake on td4 by adding a snorkel conversion. sensible answers please time wasters need not apply
and i`m not worried about the doors getting wet.

Yes you can buy a snorkle

Not sure if there is one avaliable for the TD4, I know there is one for the 1.8 and the V6. Also depending if you going to be using the car in dusty conditions eg. desert then it maybe worthwhile rasing the air intake via a snorkel to enable you to suck cleaner air but if your looking at deep water crossing you will also need a wading kit as the ECU and fuse box are all at approx. the same height as the air filter and although these are sealed to some degree I wouldn't fancy sinking them.

You could try the MAD Freelander Club, quite a few of them have raised air intakes.
