During this unaccustomed heat we seem to be experiencing I've decided that my aircon output is not as chilly as it used to be :(. But it has been a good reason to open both sunroofs :),
Anyone had any experience with regassing in the South Cumbria area?

according to most regassers you should get them topped up every couple of years, kwik fit do a £50 no effect no pay service, they have to reduce the temperature by a given amount or there is no charge

Was wondering about that, we've got Kwikfit, ATS and Halfords nearby and similar prices. Just wondering if any one is a better bet!

Kwikfit were very honest when they tried to regas my LSE, they could have done it but it wouldn't have been completely effective ( didn't have the right adapter to get a perfect seal) so suggested I get it done by an ac specialist, I was impressed that they didn't just go for the sale

The trade would recommend the checking and topping up every two years, why wouldn't they.

I'm getting 6c at the dash vents when the ambient temps outside are 25c so no problem there, and that's how it been for the last 18 + years with my disco.

Disco 1 or 2 tip: don't use the sunroofs otherwise they will leak , but why would u when u have a/c :D

Thought I'd take a chance as they've had new genuine seals in recently. Was surprised at how little buffeting there was compared with other cars I've had with a sunroof. :)
