Digging and searching - it is either nearly £1000 if you can get it - or no longer available....

Bay of E may throw something up - failing that - surely the condenser will work, you may just have to get thoughtfull with mounting it, or getting adaptors to fit any pipe connections....

I thought that too, but at least one thread has reported 2 different sizes. guess I was lucky when I ordered mine as I was unaware of differences:)

From what i can see Keith they are all the same up to 2001. VIN YA447505. Maybe the last units MY 2002 were different. I have seen two sizes but can't find them off hand, the early one being comparative pea nuts, the later one being bloody expensive.

It looks like there are actually 3 sizes, Mine has the final version which I cannot find anywhere, doesn't seem common to anything across the rover range. It is only about 360mm high. I anybody knows where I can get one give me a shout.
I have taken it off, so I might see if Serck can fix it unless anyone else can recommend a decent specialist. (Oxon, Bucks, Berks).

Try Autocool.

Why not remove the condensor and have it recored, there are many radiator companies in yellow pages.
This normally is cheaper than dealer prices and usually next day return.
Antarman.

I have taken it off and will try and get it repaired, cant find one anywhere ! Took off and cleaned the intercooler at the same time. Mine is only 380 high with the connections bottom right, one threaded, one captive o ring.

Part No. is indeed JRB 000030 or 000040 with the fans, now now longer available. Bugger. Stupid bloody price if it was ! (£ 1300.00 inc VAT)
Staying warm then, unless someone has one at sensible money somewhere.

If both incoming pipes were threaded I could do the lot in copper, but one is an o ring on a captive block which is a bugger, but i will have a look, incoming pipes are on the opposite side on the bottom on the condenser, it is also 200mm shorter. Typical land rover, if it works, change it. If its crap leave it on.

As I said - you will have to get creative - but with thought and access to a decent shop full of hydraulic/pneumatic(?) fittings (or the internet) it should be possible...
