Aiding a Disable person

Have you spoken to Motability about getting a suitably adapted car? (It might be your mum who has to 'own' it in some way, but at least they know all about adapting vehicles for disability, they'll have done thousands just like this.) Sorry if that's already old news to you of course!

Might have to liaise with her GP to make sure she's on the right benefits to qualify - must admit I don't know anything about that particularly (for a change...).
I think if Remember rightly disability benefits is based on your income and not put it bluntly she has more than enough to effect this. Currently we have the Blue Badge which helps a lot. but running cost of another car for disabled would be expensive on a limited budget that I have in keeping both. I would rather keep mine and adapt my habit to accommodate the problem. I already made folding ramp high enough to allow the wheelchair safe height next I will see about the transfer board to aid the next step.

as a side note , for a motability car or adaptions u need to receive the higher rate of the mobility section
 
Just drop an email to see if they can and what cost. I will still get a transfer board though as an extra backup.
