Hi,
I have looked through the previous posts but cant find an answer so here goes.

We are looking at swapping our car for a 200tdi 90 landy. We have 2 small children 3-4 in booster seats. Can both seats fit in the passenger and cubby seat legally.

Ideally a 110 would be better but my wife wont drive LWB. she loved our series 2a swb.

2nd question, can you boost the power steering any.

wouldnt you be better off with a disco ,it isnt going to be a comfortable drive with 2 booster seats and an adult in the back ,pas steering should be adequate

AFAIK legally, yes, practically though, probably not.

forward facing rear seats do exist, and probably a better option for you. we got a 110 because of this, Ive got 3 of them! ones going on a forward facing seat as soon as I get one in there.

A 'child' that requires by law a child seat is; either under 135cm tall or under 12yrs

The seat type that you can fit a child seat to is;
1.forward facing and
2.has a 3 point seat belt.

This is what I came up with from doing some recent research on the same question.

I can tell you from experience. I have two wee ones, one 3 the other 6. Put booster seats in, it can be done but is cramped as hell. If its just short trips its no bother at all, but be prepared for kicking, the "daddy she keeps pushing me" complaint. Mine love the novelty of it but much more than ten miles is torture. At least you won't have to say "don't make me come back there..."

Just spoke to the wife and thats the way we are going. on longer trips we have the car but I am going to swap that for a 110 300TDI. I have had Landrovers all my life and we own a farm so they have to earn their keep too.

we had a Freelander for a short while, wont have another.
