hey everyone, I am very new to the Range Rover world and I have just bought my self a very nice Vogue 3.0 td6 2005.

It has rear head rest screens for rear entertainment but there is no DVD player in the back.
I have had a look in the back left storage console , there are wires for connection.

My question is this as I am struggling to find the right player at the right price , is there an aftermarket alternative that will do the job?

Any help would be great fully appreciated and thank you in advance.

Do you know if it was factory fit or after market ? Mine had a Veba dvd player and screens in but player was up the spout and Veba dvd units are still around so went for same again, the only problem was the screen output connectors on the new unit was different but I was lucky in that mine has a switch box in it to send the tv signal to rear screens and that has rca connections same has the dvd player ( all this just for grand kids !).

Thank you for the response.
I was under the impression that it was factory fitted, but I’m not sure now.

I have these cables loose... aux , power and what I assume is an info cable.
I will attach a photo.

I’m at a loss to what fits these.

Well the three cables joined together will left and right sound and video fitted with rca plugs, the other wire not a clue but guess it could be factory fit but looks like the later tv unit in the back there, think its time for a bit more googleing sir.

I feared a bit more googling was on the horizon.
I’ve done a ton of research on the dvd changers.....they are not cheap! Also trying to find one with the same power adaptor = nightmare. May just have to have a refit.

Thank you for your reply .
