advice re freelander

radiator lost all its bood over the road,and steam but did not overheat. carnt understand why it cut out and woundnt restart(only if ht leads were wet). anyone had a similar prob. going to get new rad fill it n bleed it then try to start it
 
sorted fitted new rad, and new plugs as it was gassed up not getting a long run for over a week. like most 16v should be warmed up.
