Ok I've sort of asked this before.

I want to start green laning etc but am running a set of 35/12.50/15 Pro Comp Xterrain alloy wheels/tyres.

Are these too big and should I buy some 8 spoke wheels with 265/75/16 Insa Turbo Dakar's ?

It's hurting me to have to do it, but is this pain for gain? :confused:

on a more sober note....your motor looks cool, not overdone.....but big[expensive!] tyres are very vulnerable to side wall damage in ruts ..go 235/85 or 7.50 x16

Totally agree, If you go out wearing Camo and a high viz jacket in a blinged up look at me i am a cock mobile farmers will hate you and think you are a nob going out looking for the worse terrain you can find.

Go out in a old Series with 7.50's on, the farmer or walkers will not look at you in such a way they will obviously realise you are going out for a nice ride in the country not looking to get stuck..... Most of the time!

The trouble is most people judge a book by its cover, it does not matter if you are not going out looking for the worse possible terrain or not people will assume you are, which does not help how the public persive greenlaners!

Hi-Vis Camo ... that's a great idea!
You should patent that, "but don't sell the bike shop yet Orville."

The Swedish moose-hunters wear camo gear from head to toe so the moose don't spot them too soon - but they wear Hi-Vis vests and hats to enable the other hunters spot them as soon as possible! Work that one out.

A better choice so as not to loose ground clearance would be 255/85 r16 BFG MT , this would give the best mix of clearance , traction , fill the wheelarches , and not look too "negative" to mop . JMHO

So they'd be the same size as 33 x 10.50 ? (or a tiny bit bigger).
