ive recently bought a freelander 2000 1.8xei vc joint has gone so removed rear prop to see if that stops the guddering when on full lock and it did so its the vc.
also found that the clutch bite is very low and 1st and 2nd gear stiff to get in and reverse grinds before it goes in been told that thats a symptom of the clutch master and slave so wondered if this is a probable cause.
but the thing that concerns me the most is that when i throttle off the car seems to have a big drone coming through it almost like bearing noise but pretty loud not there when the throttle is on its a bit like when a cat has gone and you throttle of at say 70mph and you can hear it, only this you can feel as well feel it more from say 3rd down.. any advice?//
