Disco 1 - passenger door

It sez in the rave to disconnect the rod between the interior door handle and turn the locknut at the end to alter the effective rod length - now unless yu got 12 fingers a foot long, how are yu supposed to turn the nylok locknut? The Rave shows a convenient oblong hole, but there aint nuffink in my door like it - at least nowhere near the door lock.

anyone done this?

I had to do my drivers door. After removing door panel and plastic sheet, i managed to push the connecting rod outwards and with an 8mm ring spanner tighten the lock nut , only needs a couple of turns

thanks Thurlow - managed it in the end after much swearing and tearing of door liner i found it woz a 7mm spanner tho.

oops ! i did mine the old fashoined way and just bent the rod a bit, should have read the book and found out about the lock nut thing
