I have an amber warning light for ace coming on now and again, can anyone one tell me what it is warning, is it a sensor or fluid level. I only have a handbook in German and my German is not good. The fluid was on the low mark, I topped it up but fault is still on.
Thanks
Sparky.

Not a lot of help I know but the handbook says,

"If the light shows AMBER
(constant illumination).

This indicates a system fault that will result in
reduced ACE performance but will not leave
the vehicle in a dangerous condition. You may
continue driving, but reduce speed, take
additional care, and consult a Land Rover
dealer at the earliest opportunity. "

This is often caused by they upper and lower accelerometers needing calibration, two mins on Testbook will sort it out.The ACE ECU does not store fault codes after the ignition is switched off,so to get what actually has set the fault can be difficult if it is only ocassionally that the lamp comes on.The readings from the snesors can be viewed as live data so any readings when stationary other than zero or very close to it should confirm that a recal will fix it.
