Have a 2001 Disco 2 TD5. A couple of months ago had a leak in rear ACE pipe so had both replaced. Been fine until the last week. When driving along the road, or sitting idling, there is a thump from under the vehicle. I had a good luck around and found that the two pipes that are the feed and return pipes from the ACE pump at the distrubution block are literly vibrating, and the vibration occurs roughly every 10 seconds or so. On touching these two pipes they are hot to the touch. The pipes leading away to the two ACE rams are cold to the touch.
Has anyone else seen this or has a scooby as to what might be going on?
There are no warning lights on dash. No obvious leaks from the ACE system and the ACE reservoir is 'bubbling away' as if the ACE fluid is being circulated around.
