On this post: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f9/2004-freelander-upgrade-part-3-dash-how-fit-101656-2.html you mentioned something about "instrument panel stopped working altogether". Did you manage to sort it out somehow?
I am asking because I have the same problem on my MY2003 Freelander TD4 but in my case, I had the battery disconnected for 6 mths then, after reconnecting it, the instrument cluster won't work at all, not even the dash illumination when switching the headlights on. The only thing that moved was the speedo needle which went to 12 o'clock !
Sorry to bother you with my problem but so far your situation was the closest I can found to mine.

Hi Stuart, what i have gained from your posts is invaluable. I have a problem with the rear window wiring. Have a 1999 xedi with manual rear windows. managed to get rear electric window mechanisms and looms. Would you be kind to guide me on the wiring to get the switches connected and to get all the windows also operating from the drivers side?? The wires that come from the front to the rear doors are coloured: orange,grey,black, pink,brown/pink,purple/white and grey/pink. You mention 2 5pin relays for the front doors, does that mean for the rear doors i will also need 2 more relays??

P.S. What i have done so far was to chop out 7 wires from the new loom and run them parallel with the old one but remain unconnected(rear doors) I havent touched the front yet. These wires are coloured as:Blue, red ( have already connected these to the window motor and put panel back) and from the switch plug i have black, white/blue,grey/green,white/red,and red/orange.

Thanks for the freelander feedback. Someone told me that the v6 bumper is more 'pronounced' and therefore makes the upgrade more difficult. Are the bumpers the same regardless of engine? SW

Have you managed anything regarding wiring diagram i have the colour correct for the indicators and main beam but still struggling on the dip beam and height adjusters please help
