Hi All,

The AC fan at the front of my Radiators is seized. I remember people just replacing them with any old fan found at the scrappies?

Any particular to look out for or does any old fan do?

It is a Td5 by the way.

Logical for the most of us is it not DDC :)

So for your info TPT if replacement is then found to be required... then it must be better to fit a fan that matches the LR disco 2 design, so fit a replacement 'as is'. and forget.
the screws that hold it in place are probably seized, a bit of penetration oil, time and effort, then if it comes free, proper oil to lube it, job done! if not get a new one, but a good one, lube it well before fitting as it is at the firing line for all the weather,

We found a near 100% replacement on ebay. Denso made the originals, or at least the one on Philip's D2 was made by them.

Slight mods to the fixing holes.

They aren't sealed, so road muck gets in and destroys them.

Google out TYC 630870 it comes to 30 quid without shipping from amazon, that motor is 100% perfect match for the D2 fan, even the connector is the same, you dont have to improvise nothing just fit it to the blade

I can only order that from the states but I think I will.
