Disco 1 ABS Issues...

The abs light is on on my 300 V8. I keep getting either 2-12 or 2-14 codes. I've completely rebuild the front axle many times. New CV's bearings, bushes, swivels, the lot. I've adjusted the endfloat, . Everything is adjusted to factory spec. I've reseated the sensors. I've replaced the sensors. I've blessed and exorcised the sensors..
I still, if I'm lucky get one journey with the light off.

I have a theory about what it might be but I'd be interested to see what everyone else thinks..

check the ABS ECU's connector to not have loosen pins where the green wires are cos they are close to each other and if nothing visible IMO you should try with another ECU to rule it out.

I've stripped and checked the connector already. The pins appear solidly mounted and there's no sign of corrosion.
I'd ruled out the ECU on the basis that it is possible to get the system working, briefly if the sensors are pushed down hard. If that's a false assumption, I'm happy to try another ECU.... if I can find one!
