[/ATTACH]I was on my way home yesterday morning when this happened. I was doing 40, but slowing down. as approaching traffic. Suddenly the truck in front of me suddenly stopped. I slid on the damp road, and caused a slight scratch. 111202_125817.jpg

not even some of my t cut will do owt for that....

somthing simlar happend to me couple of months ago.

got off with no damage due to the big fook off bumper and tow ball mounted in front....unlike the van driver...he were well impressed with big ball dent....av it

Glad nobody was hurt! were you on L plates????

If you couldn't stop you were too close,

and that winch bumper is a classic

I thought I was being diplomatic but hey ho. Your bumper, which has a winch some how plonked on it is poor in design and it shows just how poor as its knackared.

Whats funny is insurers are on here and now they know its totally your fault. As soon as you say it just happened, suddenly or in a flash, the insurers knbow its instantly your fault because you wer either too close, too fast or not paying attention. We had to do an advanced driving test at our work to keep the insurance sensible and they basically teach you how it all works and how important how you tell them what happened.

could be up for a £1000 fine aswell if it was caught on CCTV before the accident without a number plate. Police are gettinkg really really strict on these older motors now.

most of that looks like soft tissue damage. the bumper hasnt moved, so the chassis should be OK - new front panel, wing, lights and bonnet should get it sorted. what £300-600?

Trucks normally take longer to stop so what were you doing instead of paying attention?

An old woman in her honda jazz decided to pull out right in front of me yesterday to potter along at 10mph on a main A road... when I was doing 50.. came so close I thought both vehicles would be written off. Thank fook for brand new sprinter brakes and thank god my van was empty!!!:eek: She didnt even seem to notice me even when I was flashing my headlights at her!

Sorry daft but how can you tell the bumper hasnt moved? How do you know where it was before the crash just from those 3 pictures?
