I'd love a section for people to show off stuff they've made or had made.

When people create threads for stuff they've made or are planning to make, it will quite quickly get lost down the page order of other chat, and quite often will be in a sub-forum specific to the vehicle they have.

I'm pretty sure I miss out on seeing stuff, because I rarely venture into the Disco or Series sections.

Can we have one place for that sort of stuff?

Well I was thinking things more like people welding ****, like home made winch bumpers, awnings, roof racks, camper conversions, wheel carriers etc.

I guess your love swing might get some interest but probably not sticky back plastic. :):p:eek:

A home made love swing - show me now ;)

saw this and thought pf you :).

Agree a section for projecrs

My last few:

Managed to extend the splines on the lower steering shaft enabling me to cut the shaft down.

Now ya talking.

Ok, so i have no idea why you'd want to make your steering shorter, but thats exactly the kind of thing I had in mind.

Wouldn't it be good to have a sub-section full of that kind of thing. :)

I like the idea defo

FYI need to
Shorten the lower shaft to fit a std length defender column in
An old 80 inch series 1

My old man loves these jobs on his latge and milling machine

Very nice job.--do you have to sit under the bonnet to steer?
