It depends on condition, how many owners and documented service history - full documents/invoices not just stamps in a book, anyone can buy a rubber stamp !!!

I would have thought nearer to £3750 would be the mark.

Just as an example of what can be bought: 2002 TD5 ES Premium with 95,000mls and full dealer history, HOW MUCH ???

£2000 !!!!!!

Ok she has a couple of scratches down one side, but £2000.

Keep looking , there are bargains to be had.

wanna sell it :D

I got my 2001 Td5 Adventurer with 98k on the clock from a main dealer for £4000 a year ago so no, I would say £5250 is not a good price.

£2000???? £2000??????????

Jaysus, though mine was cheap at 4800. 52 plate Td5 XS, 108k FLRSH and bills to prove, top nick.

Yes Paul £2000. All leather, all electric, everything works as it should, I'm a very happy bunny.

She was showing a small amount of vibration at 70mph but I've just (this afternoon) fitted a new rubber doughnut and it appears to have solved the problem.

Will know more on weds when I do 400kms on motorway.

She is an absolute pleasure to drive though :D:D:D

Now that's interesting. Mine starts vibrating at exactly 70mph so have done my homework on here and bought a new doughnut. Waiting for the guy I use to swap it over for me. Hopefully that's what it is, no record of it being done on previous bills I've got. Would be good if you update after your trip so I can breath out again until it's changed.

Bloody good work on getting your motor for that price!!!:D

No problems Paul - I'm just hoping that it has been cured as the car is just so delightful in every other respect.

Incidently changing the doughnut only took a very easy 30 mins to do myself, for your info.

I did 1300kms in 4 days a couple of weeks ago, with no fatigue or stress whatever. I used to have (as well as Discos!!!) a BM 740I auto, which was very nice and obviously a lot faster than Françoise, but Berty didn't give anywhere the pleasure.

If I had the axle stands I'd tackle it myself but the guy reckons 20 quid to do it and by the time I've bought them....then again, they'll always come in handy....sod it,you've convinced me. Something else for the wife to trip over in the shed:)

We've got an 05 Golf Sport Tdi, 130bhp, wife's go kart. Nice for a quick blast and surprisingly comfy but after driving my Disco...I know what you mean. I spoke a lot to a guy who's a landy nut before buying and he said it gets in your blood. He was right!
