So ive done some googling and havent really come across my exact problems. They may be linked but i thought id ask anyway.

Firstly my heated screen doesnt work. I have no power to the switch, screen or fuses. Ive purchased a proper relay from LR and put it where google said, as well as the two 40amp fuses in the engine bay fusebox. Where else can i go with it?

Secondly my temperature gauge has issues. You can be driving for an hour with no issues, then itll slowly drop to nothing and the warning light will come on. Turn the ignition off and back on and itll pop back up to normal again. Ive read on google that they have earthing issue but i dont really know where to look for this....

Lastly my truck has had a recent ashcroft manual gearbox. When cold you get some clutch judder on pull off. Changing gears on road is fine and once the trucks warmed up its also fine from the off. Any ideas?
I did a box oil change just incase but no different.

Thanks in advance guys

For the screen you need a wiring diagram and chase the wire back until you find 12v. If there is no power to the fuse then there must be a break between the battery and the fuse.

Clutch judder might be some friction material or high spots on the flywheel

i am pretty shaw the screen needs to be turned on in one of the cars ecu the car needs to be told its now got a heated screen

Second that. The BCU needs to be told the electric screen is fitted. Has it ever worked or have you just tried to upgrade the car? The temperature gauge is also controlled through the BCU (I think its the BCU or one of the modules) so its possible it might be a fault common to both problems.
Worth looking at the IDM ( circuit board on the back of the internal fuse box) Its prone to getting water in and it causes all sorts of problems.

As regards the gearbox, it may be the dual mass flywheel causing the judder and not the gearbox at all.

Great shouts guys thanks. The car had a screen and a button in when i bought it but no relay in so ill get it plugged in and checked....
