98 Freelander 1 XEDI !HELP!

We are currently trying to find a solution to fuel issues i.e. not enough fuel being pumped through system (without having to spend a fortune on having injection pump serviced etc). We were going fit an external electric pump to increase supply but hubby wondered if we would be able to fit an in tank pump (bearing in mind these were fitted to TD4 and ours is XEDI).

We just wondered if anyone had done this or if anyone knows whether it is possible.

Allow me to translate ( I speak a little tratter) what the kind gentleman was trying to point out was that this may be more apropriate to the freelander section of the site.

Good luck finding a solution I know nowt about doozles mines a petrol
