Hi! Fellas,
I just bought a s/hand set of front fog lights for my p38 off ebay, along with a new switch. :) I removed the blanks in the bumper, found the plugs and fitted the lights.:) I then went and removed the blank switch cover, fiddled around in the loom and found the plug...I connected new switch.:)... NOW....when I went to switch on, the green indicator light on the switch came on...BUT the fog lights didn't!!!:(
.....any suggestions please??
Before anyone asks....yes! there are bulbs in the light units!!

Cheers,
Ian....(new member)

prolly what he said as the becm will assume the fog lamp bulbs have broken and throw up a warning if its constantly activated!!!

but i would also check there is a fuse in for the fogs!(if it has one)

Thanks for that chaps!....I take it that I'll have to take it to my local Land Rover garage to sort out then?...by the way...what does BECM stand for??...sorry for my stupidity!

was thinking of fitting front fogs on my dse but have been warned off by a few people due to air restrictions to the oil rad being behind the bumper blank??????

@tommo138....To be honest, when I fitted mine, they were not obstructing anything, and are recessed well within the bumper moulding!.....I would say to go ahead and fit them!

Fitting front fogs on an auto diesel is not a good idea, you will block airflow to the gearbox oil cooler.
Its no problem on a manual but you will need to get it turned on in the becm as said above.
