Just to be clear this vehicle is not in one piece! This is a project and needs rebuilding. Also the roof rack in the picture of when it was together was sold before I bough this.
This is a Defender 110 TD5 2.5 Diesel. So, a bit of history. This vehicle was taken off the road in 2017 and stripped to do a complete restore on it. Unfortunately the person who started this project was unable to complete it so about 12 months ago I bought this. I have slowly been trying to rebuild this defender but due to a change in my own circumstances I will no longer be able to carry one. This is an ex SGN vehicle that has been upgraded to 3.5tonnes. it has the HD suspension and the original winch that connects to the gearbox and not electric one, which has the steel cable. The chassis has had a new rear crossmember put in place it was sandblasted repaired and then repainted. its currently in a rolling chassis state but no steering as per the picture, such its literally just the axles and wheels. everything you need to rebuild this is there. the engine and gearbox was in good condition and running well when taken out. it had a small oil leak from the cover, but a new seal is included. there is also an electric window upgrade as well as all stainless bolts for the body. the seat box and bulkhead have been sand blasted and require some welding before painting but the repair panels for this is also included. I have 1000's of photos of the vehicle being stripped. I would love for this to go as a project to someone who will finish the job and restore this defender to her former glory. I also have the full workshop manual from Landrover and the parts catalogue too.
It's up for £5000 but i am open to sensible offers
