Last on the list is a perished gaiter on the upper link ball joint. Had a go at splitting the taper to remove joint from the axle bracket, but ran out of time and inclination. Before resorting to large hammer and drift, does anyone have any ideas about replacing gaiter in situ, for example cutting new gaiter to wrap it, or using piece of leather to make gaiter as in the old days. Son is not too handy with lump hammer, hence question
