90 Fuel tank 200TDi

It's not a nice job. I have just taken mine out only to find when removing the new one from the box that they sent me a petrol one. With hindsight I would remove the floor pan to enable you to access the mounting brackets. Remove seat and cover to release sender wire and both fuel lines (flow and return) give them a squirt with wd40. Drain fuel. Disconnect all pipe work old jubilee clips will probabley be easier to snap off then unscrew. They tank sort of has to be lifted at the back (drain plug end) slightly twist it towards you and then nose down and out towards the front. Thats how I got mine out with much frustration, only to have to refit it 5 mins later. Hope this is helpful to you. make sure you have all new jubilee clips before you start and good luck!
