90 & 110 - i might have a change to buy both as a bundle but how much do you think?

Might have a chance*

I might have the chance to purchase both a 90 & 100 (it’s both or nothing i believe). If i get them i am going to go 50/50 with a mate and rebuild them both to standard spec.

Neither have had a mot for a couple of years i believe, they are used to transport people and tents around private land.

The chassis sound pretty solid but i haven’t checked them out properly (was in me work suit).

If this one guy doesnt buy them at a grand then i have the option..

Randomly i just noticed the 110 has the same start and end letter as my current 90!?

Thats all i know at the moment, id didnt get a change to look under the bonnet so i dont know what they are running, i was sure people on here know wold know all sorts just by looking at them lol

As you can see the 90 is a lefty.
Ayone know what engines they would be?
I take it thats a salisbury axle on the 110.
The 110 was running when it was last stated....lol. its got a dead battery at the moment.
I managed to tap the 110 chassis in places and sounded ok.

How hard is it to sell a left hand landy anyway?
 
lhd make good money as exports, i can point you in the right direction if need be. for 1k you can`t go wrong, even if both the chassis are rotten you will make money breaking them... i would go for it!
 
Are they actually ex Military or just sprayed up, how do you know (that's in an inquisitive way as i dont?)

I didnt think about exporting it. As i dont have the room to keep another but a mate has a workshop (and works for a certain LR specialist) we may end up selling them after a full rebuild. if it goes through i will give you a shout. cheers
 
sulking cos he`s getting two for a grand! no i am well... bit hacked off with insa turbo`s though... got a set of rangers going back to paddocks as they are completely unbalance-able. got some general at2's on the way instead, but other than that i am well mate :D how be you and the rest of the western massive?

be interesting to hear what paddocks say about the balancing issue.

so far they been very reasonable and understanding. he (darryl) reckons that they have had a couple of issues with some insa`s of late... obviously with a remould you are quite likely to have heavy spots in the tyre as it essentially is a tread glued onto a tyre. anyway, i just want a refund to go towards some decent tyres, my bfg`s are looking very tired and i can't afford/justify 128 squids a corner...
 
The 90 is a 200 tdi I think but could way out
The 110 has a hatch or small door behind the cab and a Dixon Bate hitch so it looks like an x MOD to me, again its a guess.

Centre light switch knob on both ( for convoy and normal running ) , indicator/side.tail lights are different , side locker on the 110 and a couple of other bits , yeah there ex-military :D
 
Sorry i dont think this is going to be a quick sale thing, i am waiting on some guy NOT buying them. will keep you up to date though
 
Go for it! As said you will make money on it even if you strip em for parts :)

I reckon the 110 is a V8 and the 90 is a N/A :)
