54 td4 not starting

ive got a 54 plate td4 been running good until now fuel pump not priming as i cant hear when i turn key, how do i check if thier is power getting to it. anyone kno how much a new ppump costs im in fife.

Fairly common problem!! On your car pump is in rear wheel arch. Plug on top should show 12v on the 2 wires with ignition on. Temporary fix is a smart tap with a hammer on pump body whilst ignition is on. When I did this to mine one pump lasted a few months and .The other 10 mins!! If new pump needed buy a pierburg pump. Ebay £30 ones are short lived. Expect to pay £130 ish.
