4x4 Calender

Hi Guys,

I've been looking around the internet trying to find places to take my Disco and found this website which may be of use to you all.

If anyones from the West Midlands area and fancies going laning any weekends let me know and we can get a group together, there arn't many in the west midlands but it'll be good to have a west midlands group meet for regular green laning and 4x4 play days.

second link is also good, but has less events per month listed, so i still like the first one

I'm in the west midlands so would be up with meeting a few others. Been out of it for a while, but just bought an old disco.

I've got a few jobs to do on my disco over the next month or so but then i reckon by June/July it'll be ready to go offroad/greenlaning.

Where abouts in the midlands are you from Guy, I'm in the Erdington area of Birmingham

I'm about 5 minutes from Junction 4 of the m42. So not to far at all.

My disco runs and has mot so I can go anytime.

Hi guys I live in Stafford n got myself a 90 last month to play iwith and fancy going green laning in derbyshire this weekend or finding a good off road site for a novice and havent a clue where to go.

Anyone up for it this weekend 24th/25th?

Nope...but i'll buy you a tank of fuel if you pick a gearbox up from Whitchurch and deliver it to Stafford!! (Got to try!)

Not much for green laning near Birmingham, but if you keep your eyes open on here you'll spot groups of us going out in the best lanes ever just up the road

would love to get out this weekend but i'm off to the BTCC at rockingham so the most offroading my disco will see this weekend is a gravel car park lol

would be good to get a localish group of novices together from the midlands for pay and play/greenlaning once a month

I'm currently looking at a few places and will be checking out a couple of pay and play sites with a mate whose more experienced over the next month and then i'll probably post a thread to get a group of us together.

If your interested PM me and let me know whether its green lanes or pay and play sites and what area your in and i'll do some research on dates and prices.

Have a few repairs to do to mine after last weekend

Would prefer pay and play as mines more suited to that than the roads, but I dont mind.

I'm out this weekend and mega busy most weekends but if i can see a chance to get it for you i will. I work away all week so weekends are crazy busy...especially as there si so much i want to do with my landy.....

Yeps, shrops...i live in denmark but im from stafford and family are there...but my mums 70 and wont pick up a gearbox for me...lazy bint...i'm just waiting to hear back about this box, he's gone a bit quiet...when he gets back to me i'll sort a payment to him, i'm not in a rush for the pick-up so i'll pm you if it happens..tbh i think he's realised its a bit cheap and is backing out..

Enjoy the landy! Can you still get onto the chase these days or is it all closed off now? Spent many weekends riding trial bikes across there in the 80's!!

happy to try the pay and play stuff but not this weekend now.....plans all changed again just this min!!! But want to start getting out soon as no point havin him otherwise.....

do i need any particular stuff like tow rope / strops etc ????

cant see why your mum doesnt get it!!! Happy to help so just pm me

still learning on where to go. noticed there are organised outings on chase but doubt you can just drive on the chase as its all railed off these days

No you wont need ropes etc if there is a group. Just as long as someone has a set.

Just make sure you have some good recovery points.

Saw a 110 at the weekend that didnt. Pulling from the bumper not the best move

Definatly find the first one better, cheers mate!

Might give Harbury a go in May!
