Disco 1 4WD indicator light

Hi, I've got a 93 pre-facelift 200tdi and I was wondering if there is an indicator light that comes on somewhere on the dash when 4WD is engaged?

Mine is the original Conran dash with Morris Marina stalks etc.

You know it’s permanent 4wd system right? So the 4wd is ‘on’ all the time.

what light are you thinking should be lighting up?

I presume it's about the diff-lock warning light which should be under the indicator's warning, if it doesnt come on when the diff is locked the first suspect is the switch

Yep, its the diff lock - don't know why I said 4WD as its always 4WD.
I've never seen a light on such an early Disco dash so was wondering if there is one.
I've seen it light up on a Disco 1 post face-lift dash though.

On post 95 D1s which are covered by RAVE the CDL warning is in the RH side upper corner of the cluster, IIRC on earlyer modells is under the indicators but where ever it is there should be one as it is on any other same age modell(defender RRC), even on earlyer Series III too. Unplug the switch on the transfer box and bridge the pins in the plug then it should come on with ignition(unless it's a wiring or instrument issue)

Update, i found early D1 diagram, not the best quality but you can see that nr 15 is there
