did a 6 mile trip today and when i stopped there was a large pool of water on the floor. had a look under the bonnet and the water pump bearings totally collapsed and thrown the belt off. no warning or noise before but it's gone good style!! does anyone know where i can get a diagram of the correct routing for the belt for when i get the new pump? it's got air con. 1998 with a gems engine.
i've only done about 1000 miles since i've bought it and had to do the o rings, the heater is only blowing on the screen so need to get some diagnostics, got a sunroof seal on order as it's pouring in and dripping out of the interior light and drivers a pillar and just noticed the carpet under the rear seats is saturated! thought i'd try and get fit so bought a new mountain bike yesterday. went out today in the rangie, had a ride and came back knackered. then noticed the leak. had to leave the car in the car park and pedal back another 7 miles home. i'm knackered!! not speaking to the car at the mo!!!
