Having had a search and a read, there are a few threads, the conclusion of many being "I've fitted a ****part one and its been all right so far", well the ****part I fitted 2 years ago is no longer alright and leaking:mad::mad::mad::mad:
At the time I was skint and stuck, and it was all I could get hold of quickly:doh::doh:, so 2 years down the line, despite spending its life tucked up behind a rad muff, and still looking like new, its leaking:rolleyes::rolleyes:
So does anyone have any recommendations :confused: I've emailed paddocks asking about the manufacturer of theirs, stating that I didn't want ****part , and they haven't got back to me yet, that was 2 days ago, so Im assuming i already know the answer:rolleyes::rolleyes:
So ladies and gents I await your words of wisdom:D:D:D:D

I bought a recored unit from a local radiator specialist.
It cost a bit more but it is a good quality and is a slightly bigger core for improved cooling.
Cost about £125 exchange.

Would anybody want to exchange a bust ****part rad though:eek::eek:

Thanks chaps, Radiator - Dsdef 300Tdi - Land Rover Part BTP2275
There's 2 Bearmach and 2 Allmakes, all different prices:confused::confused:, does anyone know what the difference will be, I don't mind spending the extra IF its going to make a difference:rolleyes::rolleyes: Its not something I want to be doing again in a hurry;);)

Just going to answer my own question for anybody interested, the two Bearmach rads, the cheaper one is metal/plastic similar to ****part, while the more expensive one is Brass/copper similar to an 'Original' one apparently ;);)

Yup :) tell em you want a nissens

LRdirect do the Nissens anorl;);)

any good?

But a search on that part number brings up loads of ****part ones, are they using manufacturers part numbers?
of course they use lr part numbers except for their DA --- range which is their own number system btp2275 is lr number ,there wont be too many firms making suitable rads and other parts, so most pattern parts may well come from the same source whoever wholesales them, something that will get worse, the ali cored rads dont seem to last too long now ive changed 2 last week for leaking both looked quite new

Cheers for the links, I've asked them the manufacturer, but to be honest, with all the rebadged stuff, could it not be the same as ****part with a different sticker:confused::confused:
I am erring towards the Bearmach HD one at the minute, a few quid more, but if it doesn't fail for no reason like the ****part it would be worth every penny:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Has anyone fitted one, or can anyone think of a reason not to go with the slightly more expensive option:confused::confused:
