300TDi Leak off pipes.

on a 300TDI - is there meant to be an open leak-off pipe?

see pic - if yu look by the bulkhead, there appears to be an open end

no its closed off leak off runs from no4 thru the others to return pipe on pump

It should have a rubber cap on it but if you don't have one you could use some normal pipe with a screw in the end as a temporary measure.
