mine is jap import the radio ran on different frequency to uk i could only tune into radio 2 was told i could get the radio adjusted but changed it for a aftermarket head unit

Hi,

I've got a Jap import ,98 300 TDi which was exactly the same i.e. only
picked up Radio 2.I got one of these freq shifters from ebay for under a tenner & now pick up all stations as per a regular UK radio.

If you search ebay for a frequency shifter you should find one ok &
you'll see that they simply plug in between the aerial and radio,

Cheers............Kertir.
