300tdi EGR Blanked?

I bought an EGR Blank kit about a year ago but when I went to work on the defender she seemed to already have a 300tdi blank. I am now doubting myself. I thought one of the previous owners blanked the port and then put the valve back over the blank. Could anyone take a look at the attached pictures and tell me if I'm being a bit thick. There is evidence of someone being in here before but unsure if its a blank or a spacer and gaskets.

The plate between the two gaskets does not look as rusty as the reat of it, so I would say you are correct and it is already blanked.

Iirc on mine I removed the egr valve, fitted a blank plate to the exhaust manifold, and fitted a non egr top intercooler hose to get rid of the whole system.
