Hi, in process of puttin 300tdi disco engine box an axcels into my defender 90 ! does any body know of any major herdles i may have to get over in doing so

Can you weld?

If you're a competent mechanic with the tools and space to do the job, there's enough kits out there to supply you with the relevant parts.

Mixing the Disco's power steering components into the existing ones (if it has it) can be a bit of a head scratcher, but it's doable with some simple work arounds.
 
which is best way in my opinion ,you could use off donor if possible front prop ,rad and cooler frame pipes water and air,etc gearbox cross member, pas pipes ,front down pipe ,chassis mounts for engine,need to get 300 tunnel floor plates etc ,rear prop air box pipe and bracket allthough you could mod one, and rear exhaust system , the only welding is engine mounts every thing else is std bolt up and on, except crossmember needs chassis mounts for seat box grinding back abit rad frame needs bottom dowels fastening straight to frame and not bracket as disco ,side brackets grinding off ,gear box changing to def spec with old gearbox top and new selector rail and quadrant something i could do or advise you on
 
Will i be best to put axcel on first and will my original rear prop fit or will i need defender 300 prop?
 
v8 and lt95 ,why?,when axles fitted dosent matter,you will need def rear 300 prop ,front will be off disco ,300tdi disco defender are same engine to axle position
