300 tdi rear brake pipes in one go

About to renew all of the rear brake pipes on my 300tdi 1998 auto. Using 3/16" Copper Nickel alloy. I have a full day tomorrow so would like to get it all done if I can. Old steel pipes are well corroded.

Has anyone tried (and suceeded) to fit the complete run from inside the engine bay (ABS unit) to the rear flexi hoses in one go? It is a long run of pipe. If so any hints\tips. I would really like to avoid having any additional connections in this run of pipe ie less mechanical joints for potential leaks.

better with joints than buggered bent pipe ,though i wouldnt attempt to join to steel unless youve got a very good kit,is there not a join under footwell ?get something to cap pipe connection where ever you remove it from upstream, bleeding is easy unless you let air in to the rest and too much fluid out ,you can buy proper inline connectors for joining two pieces

It looks like it is one piece from the ABS unit in the engine bay to the bracket at the rear where the brake hoses are connected. I don't intend to join (cut and flare) any steel pipe. I will run new copper nickel from ABS to rear bracket. Possibly it is just too long to do in one piece and I will need to join it. Just wondering if anyone has done this by removing components first?
