Disco 1 300 tdi expansion bottle hose

Im now at the stage of plumbing in the 300 in my series and i made the mistake of not taking note which way this hose is fitted

It goes on the thermostat housing ,radiator and expansion bottle and has a one way valve so i assume there is a right and wrong way to fit it

Can anyone help please ?

Thanks thats great so the long pipe nearest the bottom will go the the engine ?

Yes and the shorter one to the rad.

Before i mount the expansion bottle where should the level in the bottle be in relation to the bleed screw in the thermostat housing / highest point in coolimg system ?

top of bottle should be slightly higher than plug in thermostat housing
