Help. Problem with gearbox no 2nd gear, all other gears working ok

doesnt go in gear ,or goes in no drive,if latter it isnt unkown for synchro ring on gear to break off gear not enabling gear to be locked to main shaft

Hi, yes it goes into gear but no drive 1.3.4.5. all ok, can it be fixed from the top or is it a box out job

box has to come out ,as main shaft has to be stripped to replace gear

is the rest of box likely to be worn,ive plenty of good second hand gears

It seems to be good and tight just 2nd gear, where abouts are you, I am in Flintshire, if you have the gear do you want to sell it.
