Hi all
having had a good read on the forum i have got a little stuck
so here goes with the saga so far
I have a 2001 51 plate td4. It has passed three mot's no real worries and has been stood for six months due to unemployment. Now i am working again its time to put the car back on the road so it went for an mot and failed handbrake light on all the time, abs light does not come on and a brake pipe needs replacing not to bad so in to the garage for diagnostics to find out it needs two front abs sensors and reluctor rings and the person who had it before me has scratched out the traction control, abs, hill decent warning light and engine management light so i have replaced sensors and reluctor rings and put in a new instrument cluster. It also has a new brake light switch and hdc switch appears to be ok. I now have three amigoes on and they wont go out
so the questions are how do i set the air gap on the sensors?
and
do I need to have the lights reset?
any information and suggestions greatfully recieved
