Looking to improve the cooling for my 1992 Range Rover Classic 3.9 EFI with an upgraded Cam in it - any recommendations please?

Thanks!

ps I'm also looking for a replacement for the hard dash - most of mine is missing!

If it needs improving then there must be something wrong. What's the problem?

It's got a small head gasket issue that I'm addressing, the radiator also has a small leak and I thought I would replace it and upgrade at the same time - the engine was rebuilt some time ago but unused and is allegedly a high torque/high compression motor so I thought it wouldn't hurt to get a little extra cooling especially if I decide to get a little more power out of the 3.9.

Okay, but size matters if you were to fit a larger rad there not much existing space left to do that.
As the 3.9 cooling system like most or LRs products is over specked anyway if it's working 100% there won't/shouldn't be a problem.

If you find that a new viscous fan wasn't coping you could fit an electric fan in front of the rad, that's if you do have AC, fans there already, then there's vents in the bonnet and additional ducting if your engine is that powerful to generate excessive heat. :)

I think I may just put a standard one back in then, I already have an electric fan and there's plenty of air round it with no A/C:

Now with LED rear lights :)

All back together now, had a really bad neck with numbness in my fingers - Physio and acupuncture have got me pretty much fixed up but I couldn't work on the car for a bit. Got a shock when I realised the idiots that put the engine together had only put 10 of 14 bolts in the heads!!!! Professionally built but some time ago and the engine has been stood waiting to be used for some years so no going back to the engine builder. In addition there was so much red silicone around the intakes/valley gasket area they were causing performance issues - probably 10% blockage?

I could do better myself and hopefully I have!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leaving the outer row of bolts out shouldn't cause a problem. The problem occurs when all 14 are torqued the same, tilting the head bias towards the outer row. If they are fitted 20 newtons + locktite is sufficient iirc
