Was it one of your kidneys?I sold a kidney and use a waterless coolant. Mostly for anti corrosion but after a year the fluid looks as brown as it ever did.

Had a few productive days. After the valley gasket replacement , the new rad is working fine with bluecol, thermo stat kicks in at about 75° no overheating problems. Set carbs up so no air leaks, ticks over lovely, no racing engine once warmed up and to my absolute surprise the float Chambers aren't overflowing any more. Real progress although a million jobs to do next week b4 I can even think about driving it!!
