285/75/16

Hi Guys.

I know this has been asked before but from searching there seems to be conflicting information.

I have a stand height defender. No immediate plans for lifting. Currently running standard alloys + spacers and 265/75/16 tyres.

I use it so much less on road than I used to do so thinking of going to some cooper sst MUDs in 285/75/16 on 8inch wide mods.

Will they fit and will the wheels be offset enough so I can ditch the wheel spacers? Thinking of selling them and the old wheels/tyres to recoup a bit you see!

Depends what offset the modulars have.

What offset do they need?
