Evoque 2013 top spec £25k?

TDV8 or S/C V8 ????

TDV8 fecking bite his hand off....if you can afford to run the Supercharged Petrol version...then similarly, bute the feckers hand off...

Known faults?? a bit early to tell on the 2013 model, but electronics are not LR's strong point....engines are mighty, early TDV8 (chiefly the 3.6 litre version) where Turbo and Alternator hungry...the 4.4 TDV8 is much better....but not without niggles

Run a mile from the Ejoke....it is a pathetic excuse for a Range Rover...it is NOT a Range Rover and I don't give a flying feck what anyone else says....it will NEVER be a Range Rover....it is a disgrace to the name....

LR should have just branded it as the Land Rover Evoque and I wouldn't have issue with it...I have driven one....but a Range Rover is certainly isn't not by a long fecking chalk......
 
Still won't stop the wannabes buying them.....need to go round all the dealers in the world and start re-branding them.....or better still, lobby JLR and tell them that they are dragging the Range Rover brand into the dirt with a cheap-arse heap of crap just to satisfy the TOWIE generation....making them feel better about themselves because they own a 'Range Rover'.....

The one I drove (for 5 minutes mind) is owned by a member of a Club I am the Chairman of, and I told him to go and get a proper Range Rover....his is a company car that he choose from a certain payment bracket....and he said, no need I get the chance to tell everyone I own a Range Rover without the ridiculous price tag......I said that is exactly the problem....Range Rover should be something people aspire to own...something they are willing to work hard for and EARN it....all JLR have done is cheapen the brand by making it more accessible...it is now no longer the pinnacle of luxury 4x4's....is now just a mid priced SUV owned by orange people who think fake tan makes them look like they holiday in Monaco and like to rub shoulders with the worlds elite...in their toy Range Rovers....no...they just look orange, talk like Joey Essex and couldn't even spell Range Rover....fecking stupid pointless waste of metal and leather....and there is no fecking wood in it....a Range Rover with no wood trim.....NOT A FECKING RANGE ROVER THEN IS IT.....

What upsets me more is the fact there is an Ejoke option in the Range Rover section now. Despite what LR market it as, it doesn't warrant a place in here!

I agree with Saint, although not quite so passionately... The Evoque is a bit of a chav car but ultimately it all comes down to who owns it... Katie Price bought an L322 and painted it pink!
 
To add to my hatred of the Evoque (granted, not as much as Saint and certainly not as passionate), there is an Evoque in Morecambe painted bright pink. Being colour blind, I asked my wife to confirm my suspicions of the colour and she said that she liked it. Nuff said ....
 
Oh and she detests my L322 as "it's too big and causes too many problems". If that's the price of having a car that she doesn't take instead of her own then I can live with that (hope she doesn't read this)
