Thanks for reply ,as I stated all info comes up on dab radio display , but my hand book which was supplied with car makes reference to touch screen only working with fully compatible phone, the only touch screen in car is the factory fitted sat nav , is this incorrect info in hand book or is my phone not fully compatible, does anyone have same lr2 model as mine if so can you say what happens with your vehicle. ( 2012 td4 xs ) thanks in advance plowie

May I ask... are you asking these questions because yer phone won't connect to, and work with yer FL2?

If so then tell us which phone it is. Others will advise if they managed to get the same phone working.

The first post didn't mention sat navigation that is working.
So the touch screen is working.
The phone connection will only ever work with compatible phones. No manufacturer will say it works with every phone and every subsequent update.
Twice you've mentioned the handbook and a reference to the touch screen. What reference? What does it say?

with this forum you get out what you put in. Quoting your original post because it wasn't clear isn't a good idea. If its not clear explain more. there's probably the most knowledge here on all land rovers than any other site across the whole range.

Thanks for reply, the sat nav works also phone works ok and shows info on radio , but the hand book states quote (The Bluetooth system supports Bluetooth Hands Free Profile 1.5 (HFP1.5) If the mobile phone paired also supports this profile ,additional features will be available such as battery meter ,signal strength and network operator. If the mobile phone does not support these features they will not be available on the touch screen .However ,you can refer to the mobile phones display to determine these items ) My phone is a Nokia 5.1 .regards and thanks plowie

My handbook says nothing about the phone status being displayed on the nav touch screen. It does say a compatible phone with BT 1.5 will display signal strength and battery level on the audio unit LCD display.

As far as I'm aware, the nav screen is independent of the audio system, except for overlaying the voice guidance when needed, but no data from the audio unit goes to the nav screen.

Mine is a 2008, so they might have changed it in the later system, but I don’t think that's the case.
